Spring Break with Willard Parks!
This year’s Willard Spring Break Camp was nothing short of amazing! As we stepped into our brand-new (to campers) space at the Community Center, excitement buzzed in the air. From the moment the first campers arrived, we knew this was going to be a special week—a week filled with adventure, creativity, and endless smiles!
One of the highlights of camp was our hands-on craft time. From painting masterpieces to building imaginative creations, the kids had a blast expressing themselves. Their creativity was boundless, and every day brought a new opportunity to take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir of their Spring Break experience.
Let’s talk about the Better Together playground! With perfect spring weather on our side, the kids soaked up the sunshine, ran off their energy, and made new friends in the fresh air. Laughter echoed through the play structures, and the sheer joy of being outdoors was contagious. How lucky is Willard to have this giant, new, inclusive playground right across the park? This time outside was a perfect preview of the summer days ahead!
But it wasn’t just about fun—Spring Break Camp also served as a fantastic trial run for our Summer Camp, which will be held in the same location. Seeing how the space worked, how the kids engaged with different activities, and how smoothly everything ran made us even more excited for what’s to come in a few months. If this past week was any indication, our summer camp is going to be an absolute hit!
