Community Parks and Facilities
Willard owns four community parks that include many fantastic recreation facilities.

Jackson Street Park at 220 W. Jackson St. is located adjacent to the community center and city hall in the northwest section of the city.  This park site covers approximately 20 acres of land.  Recreation facilities at Jackson Street Park include an aquatic center, three pavilions with picnic tables, playground equipment, paved walking trails, outdoor basketball court, a water fountain, and two large open green spaces.

Miller Farm Park

Miller Farm Park at Hughes Rd is located in the southwest section of the city.  This park site covers 20 acres of land.  Recreation opportunities at the park include natural walking trails and a disc golf course to be completed fall of 2018.

Frisco Highline Sports Complex

Frisco Highline Sports Complex at 8326 W. Farm Rd 64 is located in the northwest section of the city.  This park site covers approximately 25 acres of land.  This complex holds a concession building, along with ten youth soccer fields.

Willard Sports Complex at 233 N. State Hwy Z was purchased in 1989.  The 20-acre park now holds a recreation center, playground, concessions stand, pond, and two baseball/softball fields. 

Community / Recreation Centers
Willard Community Center is located between Jackson Street Park and City hall. The Community Center is linked to the park complex and the city hall by walking trails.  The Center includes a large, open room for meetings and community events and a full kitchen.  Community programs available at the Center include youth dance, senior games, senior lunches, and many parks events.

Willard Recreation Center *THE REC* is located in the Willard Sports complex property.  This facility was built in 2002.  The Rec. Center holds two indoor basketball courts, a concession stand, two community rooms, two locker rooms with showers, a 24 hour fitness center, and is the main office space for the parks department employees.

Aquatic Facility
Willard Aquatic Center located in Jackson Street Park opened in 2009.  The facility holds two slides, three water feature/fountains, two diving boards, concession stand, six – 75 foot lap lanes, two locker rooms with showers, and two picnic areas.
