The Willard Rec Center was buzzing with excitement on November 1st as 18 children joined the latest Parent's Night Out event, giving parents a much-needed chance to enjoy a fun date night. The evening was packed with activities, and the children had an unforgettable time under the care of the Rec Center staff.
A standout highlight was a visit from Dickerson Park Zoo, which delighted the kids with special animal guests, including a Barn Owl, a Sugar Glider, and a Chinchilla. The zoo team also brought out River Otter and Beaver fur for the children to touch, offering a unique hands-on experience that fascinated everyone. The kids were thrilled to see and learn about these animals up close, making it an educational and memorable night.
